My beloved pet Toby who I had for 15 years was an amazing Maine Coon with a big personality, a motor boat purr and a luxurious plush coat so wonderful to feel. I shot this photo of him while setting up for another shoot and he arrived just in time for some test shots. Later, I turned it into this art piece, which I supposed started the whole pet portrait thing for me. In addition to PaintingToby I also wrote the prose seen in the image– used both in english and in french. I miss him but love having this wonderful image to remind me of the plush love.
